Ann Coulter tweeted-At this point, who
DOESN'T want Trump impeached?
DOESN'T want Trump impeached?
Ann Coulter let President Donald Trump know that any attempt at letting the Dreamers stay in the country is an impeachable offense.
After hearing about the “maybe” deal Trump made on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program with the Democrats, Coulter went to her Twitter page to warn Trump that any back stepping on his promise to kick out all the illegals after he makes them build that wall will be met with nothing short of resistance from his loyal base.
Coulter tweeted, “At this point, who DOESN’T want Trump impeached?... Put a fork in Trump, he’s dead.”
It’s no doubt that Trump has ran afoul of his base due to his support for keeping some of the Dreamers in the country.
The folks over at Breitbart, which is ran by former White House Adviser Steve Bannon, were so mad about Trump’s “maybe” deal with the Dems to fix DACA they called him “Amnesty Don.”
Recognizing the shhhh he’s in, Trump got up early Thursday morning, trying to reassure his loyal base that he wasn’t turning his back on them just because he supports keeping productive folks in the country.
Trump tweeted, “Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!...They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security.”
The last part Trump added in there about border security is his way of convincing his wavering base that he hasn’t abandon them just because he’s trying to be rational about not kicking 11 million people out of the country.
In other words, the wall will be built. In fact, Trump tweeted this, “The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built.”
Let’s say it together, “Who’s gonna pay for that wall? Y’all.” Hahaha, it’s soooo funny! Trump’s base isn’t laughing though. All they heard was, “Donald Trump made a deal with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in order to keep the Dreamers in the country.”
Let Trump’s base tell it, doing anything with Schumer and Pelosi is like “dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight.” Nothing good can come of it.
So as far as Trump’s base is concerned, a Republican president joining hands with the democratic leaders to find a solution to DACA is blasphemous in and of its self.
Take for instance Ann Coulter’s fellow right-wing buddies Lara Ingrahm, Sean Hannity, and Tucker Carlson.
Lara Ingrham was rather sarcastic in her response. She tweeted, “BUILD THE WALL! BUILD THE WALL!;”...or...maybe...not really.”
Hannity blamed the Republicans for what he says was the Republicans pushing Trump “into arms of political suicide.”
Carlson let his feelings be known via a tweet, quoting Tea Party Congressman Steve King (R-IA): “Amnesty is a pardon for illegal immigrant law breakers,” King said.
That’s right. Coulter, Ingrahm, Hannity, Carlson, and King don’t care if children were brought into this country at no fault of their own and that this is the only country they know.
Noooo, Coulter and her buddies aren’t minding any of that. As far as they’re concern, those children should do a better job of picking better parents and then maybe next time they won’t be knee deep in shhhh like they are.
But y’all see, not everybody thinks this way. In fact, greater than a majority of folks are in their right minds and therefore don’t think the way that Coulter and her group thinks.
According to a POLITICO/Morning Consult poll, 58% of folks believe the Dreamers should be allowed to remain in the country as long as they meet specific requirements set by the government.
And when the poll results are broken down along party lines, greater than 60% of Democrats, Independents, Republicans, and Trump base agree the Dreamers should be allowed to stay.
The poll shows that 84% of Democrats, 74% of Independents, 69% of Republicans, and 67% of Trump’s base believe the Dreamers shouldn’t be rounded up and deported.
Now, I must say, the poll does show that 26% of Trump’s base is on the side of Coulter and her ragtag crew.
But as folks can see from the polls, Trump is on the right side of this one. And due to Trump having just enough common sense to know that you can’t round up 11 million people and deport them, I doubt very seriously he has anything to worry about when it comes to him being impeached for working with Schumer and Pelosi in order to fix DACA.
So yeah, sorry Ann Coulter, Donald J. Trump Sr. won’t be served on a platter before Congress over the immigration issue.
